I found some of the last daffodils of this year in my garden. I was lucky to get a photo of them because daffodil season is coming to an end soon and I would have had to wait until next year.

There is something special about you having photographed the daffodils against the sky – against the light. It would be the obvious thing to do, to have them front lit by the sun, but this way, back lit, they have a translucency which brings out the structure rather than just the pretty colours. Although the main flower reminds me of the sun up in the sky but subdued…
